Rodney B. Bolton
Chief Executive Officer 

 

Mr. Rodney Bolton helps companies perform transactional tasks in transformational ways. Rodney specializes in improving employee morale and motivation, in turn making it more likely that employees will achieve an organization's goals.

 

Rodney uses statistics to improve the function of HR. HR and people in general, are extremely random. Statistics help us understand, capture as well as predict the randomness of HR. It can help us forecast spikes, ambiguities and hidden aspects of the day-to-day HR processes. This can be especially beneficial with recruitment, succession, retention and reducing turnover.

 

Understanding the value of a company's human assets and the need to ensure that the talent of an organization has is not just on board but also properly motivated and seen as a valued partner is a key to HR and organizational success.  Rodney understands that the role of HR has more and more become that of a strategic partner. His process involves developing a strong link between employees and management that helps companies specifically employees become key stakeholders. This makes employees willing to invest in the company, its mission and values.

 

People trump strategies. The most valuable asset of any company is talent. Rodney trains employers to think strategically about their organization’s human capital. 

Rodney’s work has been beneficial in enhancing effectiveness while maximizing efficiency. Throughout his career he has dealt with HR and business issues stemming from start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, accelerated growth, organizational development and leadership.

 

Rodney focuses heavily on Human Resources infrastructures, workflows, and Human Resources auditing, compliance and employee relations. Rodney utilizes his strengths in organizational development and leadership to improve not only HR Departments but also the entire company.

 

Rodney is very active in the Chinese Business Community and has worked with companies located throughout China. His innovative approach helps foreign companies navigate the HR compliance maze. 

 

Rodney regularly lectures on the subject of Human Resources and Leadership and has done so for the City of Hawthorne, UCLA Extension, Phillips University, countless Insurance Brokers, public agencies and employers. Rodney is a professor of Human Resources Management and mentor to numerous HR interns. Previously, Rodney worked along side the Office of Wage Standards (OWS) of the Bureau of Contract Administration in developing and implementing the City of Los Angeles Minimum Wage Ordinances.

 

 

 

Susan Levi

HR Account Executive

 

As a HR Account Executive, Dr. Susan Levi oversees our client’s Human Resources needs including development of onboarding materials; tracking up-to-date labor codes; employee discipline; provider policies; harassment prevention training; engaging employees in interactive processes; overseeing harassment, sexual harassment, and other workplace investigations; audits, including wage & hour, benefits and FMLA; human resource information system (HRIS) development and execution, etc. Susan focuses on implementing or adapting HR policies through promoting employee engagement and minimizing disruption to the organizational culture.


Susan received her B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and she received her M.A. degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. After completing her M.A., Susan spent time working in the mental health industry as an Executive Director, overseeing all organizational needs including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee development, payroll, state and federal law compliance, budgeting, payroll, and program development.


After working in mental health, Susan returned to school and received her PsyD in Organizational Management and Consulting from Phillips Graduate University. Susan also holds her PHR certification from HR Certification Institute. 

 

In addition to her focus on HR, Susan has overseen projects in the areas of strategic planning, gap analysis, internal and external surveys, and change management for both non-profit and for profit organizations.

 

Anthony Forney

Mr. Anthony Forney applies expert human resources knowledge and industry experience in solving your company’s human resources issues. A graduate of California State University, Fresno with a degree in Human Resources Management and certifications held with SHRM and HRCI, Anthony has over 10 years of human resources experience and continues to learn more about the evolving world of human resources.


Anthony provides technical HR expertise in wage & hour, employee discipline, sexual harassment and workplace investigation, leave of absence management, training, staff development, and employee handbook and other labor law compliance.


With the successful completion of dozens of human resources projects, Anthony has the ability to work effectively with your management, listen to their method and help implement changes necessary for successful completion of the project.

 

Erika Andrews

HR Coordinator

 

With her B.A. from UC Irvine and her M.A. from Pepperdine University, Mrs. Erika Andrews brings both her academic knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in both the healthcare and retail industry to the HR | BIZZ team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, Erika assists in a wide range of HR tasks, including document development, workers' compensation claim assistance, exit interviews, digitizing personnel files, harassment investigations, wage & hour audits, and employee on-boarding.

 

Samantha Echeverria

HR Coordinator

 

 

Bilingual in Spanish and English, Ms. Samantha Echeverria leverages her language ability and HR knowledge to best connect with our Spanish speaking employees. Samantha is an expert in the hospitality and travel industry, providing both HR and customer service in both areas for over 10 years. As Samantha continues to grow in the HR field, she has expanded into the non-profit sector, specializing in HR requirements set by school districts and grants, as well as state and federal compliance requirements.

Samantha assists with handbook development, employee training, recruiting, creating wellness initiatives, employee on-boarding and off-boarding, safety compliance, workplace investigations, wage & hour audits, as well as performance evaluation programs.
